Raindrops Keep Falling On My Head

has this weather not been crazy this past week? Wednesday, torrential downpour most of the day, Thursday and Friday it rained off and on both days. Saturday as i drove to Atlanta to play some frisbee, it was raining buckets! on saturday i even saw a flipped SUV due to hydroplaning (the guy was walking away from the SUV smiling when we passed miraculously) and we had water come up over the front of the car at one intersection that was flooded! then today, we played some more ultimate frisbee out at the Rossville middle school and got rained out starting about 3:00pm. they say this coming week is going to be just as rainy! craziness!

all that said, i do love the rain. there's nothing like sleeping to the sound of the rain on the roof, or just watching the rain fall from the shelter of our car port on the back of my car. rain intrigues me. sure it's all very easy to explain, it just cracks me up how God chose for the water we need to survive to fall from the sky. how wonderfully silly of our awesome God! he sure does have a beautiful sense of humor though.

make sure you drive carefully in this weather, but get out and enjoy the rain this week everyone! splash in a puddle, hold your hand out under a large waterfall or best yet, close your eyes as you face the skies and grin!
