Saw my daughters first collegiate soccer goal!

Last night Amy, Trevor and I were blessed to see Lauren score her first soccer goal as a college freshman! It was a beautiful shot!

After the game we were congratulating her, and it struck me-she is so grown up. Seeing how she is blossoming and handling life "on her own," makes me thankful to my Heavenly Father. He entrusted me and Amy with Lauren almost 19 years ago. He gave us the responsibility to raise her in His image. Did we fail? Several times, but fortunately for His grace, none of the failures were fatal and she has become quite the young lady mature in her faith.

In spite of me, she has become a Godly young lady. Thank you Lord for your protection and guidance.
