This weekend I have the awesome priviledge of officiating the wedding ceremony of one of my former students. It is always a treat for me to see a couple that God has led together and they have gone through the pre-marital counseling and are starting their marriage out on the right foot. (Not to mention-the wedding is on a beach in Florida!!)
On the other side-I am asking a favor......pray for marriages! I have two couples that I know that are really struggling keeping their marriage vows.
One couple was on the brink of a divorce after some unfaithfullness. They were ready to throw in the towel thinking it was to late and to far gone. But God interceeded and thanks to some good marital counseling and a lot of prayers they are on the road to strengthening their marriage.
Don't take your own marriage for granted either. Invest time daily to make sure your spouse knows without a shadow of a doubt that you love them just as much now, if not more than the day you said, "I do!"
