Every year, I am amazed at the way that God uses the different talents of people on the J103 Mission Trip. It is always hard to tell people exactly what we are going to do in Panama because we cater the trip to the talents of the people that go. A couple of years ago, we had some people from Lumi12 join us on the trip. Throughout the week, we had the opportunity to install solar panels to houses and huts that have NEVER had lights in their dwelling. It was incredible to see the look on their faces as the lights came on for the first time. Check it out in the video below.
One village leader shared how it was going to be a life changing experience to worship and read the Bible after sundown without a candlestick to provide a small amount of light would be something new. They were beside themselves thinking about the ability to care for a sick child in the middle of the night without having to do it in the dark would be a new experience and something they were so grateful for.
We want to invite you to use your talents on the J103 Mission Trip this year! We will be going to Panama again in October, and right now is the time to sign up. To find out more, click here, or email me at email@example.com.
