We just finished a two day retreat for our management team. No, not a holiday, rather it was two days of planning for 2010.  And I learned a great life-lesson from a cat while we were there at Black Bear Cove.  You see, when they showed up the first day to break ground at Black Bear, this little black and white kitten came out of the woods to greet them....

Snow days are interesting days. It depends on what part of the country you live in, how you react to the threat of snow.  As a year and a half resident of Chattanooga it is apparent to me we react to the "possibility" of snow by immediately closing half the schools....

2009 has been a year to remember, or maybe to forget.  As I'm thinking about the year that is coming to an end, I reflect on it with mixed emotions. The year was very tough for a lot of people. Home foreclosures, unemployment, layoffs, cutbacks, stock market troubles, etc etc etc....

I was thinking today just how much joy is in this building on a daily basis!  It's an awesome thing to be a part of the ministry of J103. And you can tell it by the smiles and laughter that fill the hallways.  We've found a true joy in trusting Jesus for our every need here....
