TED GOCKE'S BLOG

Ted Gocke
I was able to introduce my youngest son Chipper to Lou Ferigno, (The Incredible Hulk)!
He was the guest speaker at the Athens Area Chamber of Commerce Benefit Dinner this past Saturday. Rob Preston, the CC director, asked me to come and be the emcee for the evening.
We arrived just as the VIP's were finishing getting their pictures taken. We came in the library there at the McMinn County High School and was introduced to Lou. He is a monster of a man (size wise), but a Gentle Giant in spirit.
While we were waiting for the dinner to begin, Chipper and I got to hang out with him for 45 minutes. It was really cool.
Lou Ferigno lost a good bit of his hearing due to ear infections when he was a baby. He and Chipper shared a lot in common, both suffering from hearling loss.
It really made Chipper's Day! Pictures are coming soon!
So glad to here your comments on Casey Anthony this morning. I did not follow the trial very closely and certainly don't know whether she is "innocent" or "guilty". I only know that a jury of her peers found her "not guilty" of the charges made against her. God will be her ultimate judge, just as He will be for all of us.
I hope Christians are praying for her salvation and reaching out to her in love. I believe that's what Jesus would have us to do. Keep shining the Light!
Andy
