My wife is dating another man....

ME!!!! We have ben married for over 21 years now, and I have to admit that many times I have neglected our marriage. We have always loved each other, but if we are not careful we allow the things of life to take precedent over our relationship. I have ignored my wife way to much. I have allowed myself to become to busy and put everything else ahead of our marriage's health.

Recently, God has opened my eyes and made me aware that I need to pay much more attention to her. So......I am making strides to be a better husband, and a better father-a different man.

You know what? I am having the time of my life dating my wife all over again! Making sure I do those little things to get her attention and remind her how much I love her, (just like I did in college before we were married.) I get butterflys in my stomach when I hold her hand. I find myself thinking about her all day. I am constantly looking for ways I can serve her and make her feel special.

I have heard someone saying we put our best foot forward and really try to impress and win our future spouses heart. Then, after we win them/marry them-we back off, become lazy and apathetic.

It's no wonder so many marriages end in divorce. Let's make a new committment to be a "different spouse"-the one who originally tried so hard to win our loves affecton-and did.
