God has blessed us in so many ways. My family has been able to spend nights in Dollywood, bed and breakfasts, at a beach in Florida-and all because I get asked to speak, entertain or do a remote.
One of those is tomorrow night. Scholar Brad from the afternoon show is going to take the reigns of the morning show tomorrow so Amy, Chipper and I can head to Gatlinburg. I have been asked to come and speak to the regional Kiwanis Convention.
We will get to walk the fun streets of Gatlinburg-watch them make taffy and other sweets, see the artisans at work, but mostly reminesce about all those summer trips I went on with my family there.
Amy is looking forward to the outlet malls and getting Chipper's Back to School shopping done and some more Christmas Shopping.
I am looking forward also to sleeping in a couple days in a row.
Pray for us and for Amy's dogs-our son Trevor is hanging out taking care of them for us!
