I am always on the lookout for creative, fun exciting activities that me and my wife would enjoy.
Today I learned that Cloudland Canyon State Park has erected 10 new Yurts for people to stay in. They are not as rough as a tent, but not as modern as a cottage. They are basically big tents with hard wood floors, furnished with bedding, chairs and a table. They are heated with a space heater. The bathrooms are a short walk away and they have a wooden deck and a fire pit for cooking.
Sounds like a spring weekend outing for me and the Mrs. Hiking, reading, just spending time together-in a Yurt!
