Lane Doran is a local 8 year old boy from Dalton, Georgia and last year he had the opportunity to star in a movie, called "Stand Your Ground". Lane plays JJ, the son of the movie's main character. Its is a true story about a father from Georgia who must stand trial for murder, but who must defend it was an accident. The movie was filmed in several locations in Georgia and was produced by Triple Horse Studios, a georgia based production company.

The official theatrical release date for the movie has been set for January 17th, 2014 and will be showing for the week at various locations. A local theater in Chattanooga, TN wll be showing it as well as locations in Atlanta, North Carolina, Mississippi, and more.
