What a Day!

Well, another Christmas Day has come and gone! I think back to the years when my kids would wake me and Amy up as early as 3am and we would make them go back to bed until 5 or 6, (I know we are so cruel). In recent years, as our kids have become teenagers we are allowed to sleep until 8-9 (and sometimes we have had to wake them up!-talk about a role reversal!)

Christmas Day has gotten a lot less hectic in our house. I watch the Christmas Story with "Ralphie" and I think back fondly to our home being that crazy. Not so anymore-more laid back and relaxing.

One non-negotiable-the reading of the Christmas story out of the Book of Luke happens every Christmas morning before one gift is opened. (Although this year I read it to my family from a couple different translations on my Iphone!)

However your Christmas Day was, I hope you enjoyed it and focused on thanking God for the ultimate gift-Jesus Christ.
