OK, Big test for mom and dad! Amy and I are
beginning to face the reality that our first-born is spreading her
wings and about to jump out of the nest.
Lauren has already graduated high school, has her college plans all
firmed up and will be moving into her dorm August 9th.
We knew that was coming. We were thrown for a little
loop when she and her two best friends decided they wanted to go to
Florida this week for a little sun and surf.
I thank God for the young lady He has created her to be, as I have
no problem trusting her and her three friends. God has
instilled in Lauren a great head and a love for
Himself. Lauren has become a great lady of faith.
Still makes you a little nervous knowing they are driving back and
forth to Florida and spending a week at the beach without
me.......or maybe I'm struggling with jealousy!!!!!
