this day in history, actor/comedian Don Knotts was born in 1924. one of my favorite actors of all time, Don Knotts in my opinion is one of the great legends of comedy right up there with Red Skelton and Lucille Ball. i grew up on The Andy Griffith Show, and his endearable oddities complemented Andy Griffith's solid personality ridiculously well. i could tell at even a very young age that the two of them were close friends. all that said, i found a cool video showing some of Barney's best moments and thought i'd share. enjoy the comedic brilliance, and maybe watch some Andy Griffith Show sometime today...i think there's a rerun on every hour of every day anyway.
