This afternoon Trevor, my son who is a senior captain for the
Heritage High School Soccer Team, will sit down a HHS tablecloth
covered table in the media center and flanked by his mom and dad,
with his current coach and future coach standing behind him, sign
the paper accepting an offer from Bryan College to come and play
for their Lion's team next season.
This is like lighting striking twice in the same place for this
father. Last year my daughter Lauren did the exact
same thing and for the exact same incredible college.
Bryan College has been a wonderful institution of higher learning
for her. She has thrived this year academically,
socially as well as spiritually.
I am proud of Trevor, like Lauren, not just for their competiveness
on the soccer field, but because they sought God's will for His
future.
