The Purple Flowers are gone

Yesterday afternoon I mowed the yard for the first time this season. It is bittersweet. I am a summer boy so when the trees start blooming and the grass begins turning green it means the warm and longer days are coming. That is excites me!

The fact that I now have to cut grass each week does not.

But such is life. I thank God that I have a yard to mow, the health to mow it, and that He gives me a sense of accomplishment and gratitude when I am finished and can look at the beautiful manicured lawn.

So, fire up that mower and don't look at it as a chore.....look at is as a blessing and a priviledge.......and if you see me mowing.....remind me!
