This weekend, my buddy Justin came over and helped me recast 3
of our Privacy fence posts. They had become loose over
the years and especially after the April 27 Tornado.
As we pulled the three posts out of the ground we noticed that the
amount of concrete was insufficient. To me it looked
like the original fence installers had dug a 6 inch hole, mixed up
a wheelbarrow of concrete and "dipped" the posts in it-like you
would pretzels in chocolate. There was not much
concrete anchoring the posts into the ground.
It reminds me of those who give their lives to Christ and then fail
to spend time in His Word every day. You just don't
have much anchoring your Christian life down.
Get into God's Word and go deep!
