Not many complaining about the rain

Because of the drought conditions and hot temperatures we have been experiencing in the TN Valley, the much needed rain has brought relief and from what I have heard-not many complaining.

In the past we have had our share of flooding in our area, and many fight the urge to complain and gripe.

Normally, running a race in the rain is kind of depressing, but I read reports from runners in the FCA 5K yesterday that said the rain brought cooler temperatures and made the run that much better.

I saw a news report yesterday about some of the area fundraising BBQ's that were making the best in the wet conditions, but no one was complaining and from the sound of their sales-people were still getting out to purchase some great pulled meat.

My family at home (which now consists of me, Amy and Chipper), stayed in for the most part and enjoyed relaxing on the couch and watching TV.

With my hectic schedule-no complaining here!
