I Believe in Music

Many times when my mind is free of clutter (which is not that often), the song that comes automatically to my mind is I Believe in Music (by Mac Davis). The number one song my brain defaults to is "Let it Snow, Let it Snow, Let it Snow".

The reason I so often recall the lyrics and begin to sing "I Believe in Music" is that was the main song in our Elementary School Choir Concert at Bates Elementary School during my 6th grade year.

Participating in school chorus and church youth choir really impressed upon me a strong sense of music and the importance of making a joyful noise unto the Lord.

If you want to see a group of kids who are allowing music to influence them greatly check out the Boynton Elementary School Chorus video I posted on the Morning Show page this week. It will bless your heart.
