Yesterday we had one of those situations where we had to choose between two of our kids.
Lauren had a soccer game beginning at 4:30 at TN Wesleyan College in Athens. Chipper had a cross country meet at 5pm at Woodland Park Baptist Church. There was no way we could make both.
We chose Lauren-and Chipper was cool with our decision.
Here's our logic-Chipper and Lauren both have meets/games again on Saturday. Chippers is early in the morning and Lauren's is in the evening. We won't be able to attend Lauren's game that evening because of a wedding, so we chose Lauren last night and Chipper on Saturday.
Whew! These choices are coming to an end as Lauren and Chipper both only have a month left in their athletic careers. In the past Amy and I have "divided and conqoured" but since this is the last seasons for both of them-we want to be there and enjoy them together.
