First Ever Morning Show With Ted Hero of the Week

Thanks to Firehouse Subs......so far this week we have two nominees for the Morning Show with Ted Hero of the Week......

Tuesday's nomination was Gary Haskew, "Dr B" from Sports Talk on WGOW. Gary passed away on Monday of a massive heart attack. A great
"entertainer" for decades, he was always fantastic in raising awareness for local High School Sports and raising money for great charities like the YCAP student boxing program.

Wednesday's nomination was a group of teenagers who worked the Harrison Recreation Concession Stand this spring and summer. They decided to donate the proceeds from their "tip jar" to Cooper Barnes, a 9 year old baseball player who suffers from epilepsy. The team of teens planned a pizza party and invited Cooper and his family where they surprised him by filling up helium balloons and having him pop each one. As he did-a $20 bill fell out. Great job Teens!
