"Be Our Guest" Beast Bites

As Disney's Beauty and the Beast has made a big splash at the theaters, here is a great snack you and your kids can have fun making together. Toss 1/2 cup shredded coconut with 1 to 2 tsp cocoa powder in a ziplock plastic bag. Spread chocolate icing in a circle around the edge of a chocolate cookie (like Pepperidge Farm's Captiva). Press coconut into icing. Attach two candy eyeballs to center of cookie, using a dab of icing. Break two triangular pieces from a candy bar (like Hersheys) for the horns and one small rectangular piece for the nose. Attach horns to the top of cookie and the nose to center of cookie beneath the eyes. Using kitchen scissors, cut two small triangles for fangs from a mini marshmallow. Attach to cookie under nose, pointy side up.
