Rump Run 5k & Fun Walk

Runners, walkers and colorectal cancer survivors are invited to join a morning of family-friendly fun and physical activity dedicated to raising awareness about the importance of early colon cancer screening and celebrating survivorship, while remembering those who lost their battle and supporting individuals and loved ones impacted by the disease.

All proceeds from the event further the Greater Chattanooga Colon Cancer Foundation (GCCCF) mission to increase community knowledge of colorectal cancer signs and symptoms, improve access to screenings and offer support to those touched by the disease in the greater Chattanooga area.

Participants may register online through midnight on March 27, 2020 at www.rumprun.com or on race day at the race site beginning at 7:30 a.m. A survivor recognition will take place at 8:50 a.m. The timed 5K will be held at 9:00 am and the Fun Walk at 9:05, followed by the awards ceremony. Pre-registration costs $30 online, and the day-of registration fee is $40. Children 10 and under are $10.

Volunteers are essential to the success of the Rump Run. Individuals or groups interested in volunteering on race day may call 423-757-0730 or go to www.rumprun.com to sign up.
