By now I'm sure you have all heard that the first half of 2009 was challenging to say the least. We were ending each month with a bigger deficit. After painful budget cuts and many friends joining us financially, we are pleased to tell you that we broke even in both August and September. God also blessed us with many great calls and pledges during our Friend Raiser. Please stand with us in praying that everyone that called in to make a pledge follows through with their gift. It is critical that we not only continue to break even each month, but that we can start paying off the debt that was accrued during the first half of this year. I and the entire J103 staff would like to say a special thank you to everyone that has stood with us financially during these tough times. The team effort of over 1705 friends working together to meet the need has been such a huge blessing and encouragement.
