Tobymac Coming to Riverbend!

With 9 Grammy nominations and 2 wins, TobyMac has become one of the most successful Christian/Gospel Artists in history. In addition, he has 18 Dove Award wins. The Dove Awards are Christian music’s version of the Grammy, Oscar, or Emmy. He is a multiple winner of the Artist of the Year Dove Award. TobyMac will appear on the Coke Stage on “Faith & Family” Night, June 10. Riverbend has also decided to back his start time up from the usual 9:30 p.m. to 9 p.m.

Robert Randolph & The Family Band will bring the funk to Riverbend’s Bud Light Stage on Sunday, June 8. Randolph plays the Sacred Steel, or Pedal Steel Guitar as it is better known. In addition to having a large Christian following, the band is often compared to Earth, Wind & Fire or other well-known Funk acts.

A festival circuit favorite, Robert Randolph & The Family Band has appeared on most of the late-night TV shows, such as Letterman and Austin City Limits. They have opened for Eric Clapton on many occasions, and have performed before many large sporting events in the NBA and NHL. Randolph was named to Rolling Stone Magazine’s “Top 100 Guitarists Of All Time” list.

One night only wristbands are available for Faith & Faimly night only at just $5 and special Star Seating for TobyMac is also available online at www.riverbendfestival.com for just $10 in addition to the regular admission price. Look in the top right area and click on “Get Tickets” link
